Ralph Lewis

Ralph has worked for 25 years in leadership development, training and consultancy. He works with leaders to help culture change and organizational performance, with teams to develop their effectiveness and with individuals as a coach. His clients have included several well-known merchant banks (Goldman Sachs, Kleinwort Benson), companies in the IT sector (BT, EMC, Unisys, Bull) and pharmaceuticals (AstraZeneca). One such recent assignment was a culture change programme for the top 220 leaders in the IS department of a pharmaceutical company to develop business value. Ralph also runs action learning groups for organisations such as the in Industry Group.

Ralph has a Masters Degree in Management Effectiveness from Leeds University. He lectured at Cranfield School of Management as a Senior Management Adviser for four years consulting for a wide variety of companies and running Consultancy Skills programmes. He also ran MBA options, tutored on short courses for managers and did research into organisations and careers. He is an Myers Briggs Type practitioner and has written about Jungian approaches to leadership and consulting. He has also developed key psychometric questionnaires based on Jung’s typology for leadership, organisational and team effectiveness. 

He is a co-founder of the Centre for Servant Leadership in the UK and has helped in running over ten annual conferences and has recently co-edited a book, Servant-Leadership: Bringing the Spirit of Work to Work.

Ralph, like Terri, believes strongly in staying in touch with the latest thinking that adds practical value to individuals and to organisations such as Servant-Leadership, Clean Language and other approaches.
