1. Presentation Skills

“Inspire’s contributions led to substantially improved team performance and our most successful sales conferences to date. The Inspire consultants we worked with were flexible, professional and completely focused on our objectives and requirements. By creating the right atmosphere and providing the right content, Inspire gained the respect and trust of the entire Nortel team.”
Annick Clement, Sales Development Director, Europe Middle East and Africa, Nortel Networks

Business Challenge

Inspire was asked to help a group of executives develop compelling and interactive presentations for a series of European sales conferences attended by more than 600 people.
The aim was to:

  • Build individual speaker confidence
  • Help speakers understand why the best presentations are usually created by focusing on the customer’s point of view
  • Increase executive credibility at the forthcoming sales conferences.

How Inspire Helped

Inspire ran a half-day goal-setting workshop for the conference organisers and presenters, followed by a series of one-to-one personal skills coaching sessions focusing on unlocking each speaker’s own individual presentation style.

Outcomes

The presentation skills course successfully channeled speaker energy from content to delivery and helped the speakers find the self-belief they needed to deliver their presentations with confidence and credibility. The sales conferences received excellent reviews.

2. Teambuilding

Business Challenge

Following an internal reorganisation, the Sales and Marketing division for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) invited Inspire to facilitate a team-building day for a remote marketing communications team of 60 people from 12 European countries.
The aim of the day was to:

  • Help the new team of 60 get to know each other
  • Overcome potential culture barriers
  • Facilitate an understanding of how the team could work effectively together across a geographical territory of 12 countries.

How Inspire Helped

Inspire designed a high-energy workshop using a variety of cross-cultural team-building skills that allowed the remote team to get to know their colleagues, understand their roles, and how best to support each other, all in a fun, low-pressure environment.

Outcomes

The marketing communications workshop facilitated spontaneity, creativity and collaboration. Relationships were established that could be maintained remotely by telephone and email and the group left with a clear understanding of the value of pan-European teamworking. When a further reorganisation took place, the relationships developed at this workshop proved invaluable.
